Adams County Seeks Election Judges for 2016 General Election

The Adams County Clerk and Recorder’s Office is seeking election judges to help with the 2016 General Election. Interested people can apply by visiting or by calling the Adams County Elections office at 720-523-6500.

“Working as an election judge is a great way to serve your community,” said Adams County Clerk and Recorder Stan Martin. “It also allows you to see democracy in action.”

Anyone who is a registered voter in Colorado is eligible to become an election judge. All election judges must attend training in October and will be paid $13 per hour.

There are various election judge positions available. Responsibilities for judges differ depending on the position. Responsibilities can range from assisting voters at one of Adams County’s 16 Voter Service and Polling Centers (VSPCs), to transporting ballots to and from VSPCs and 24-hour ballot drop boxes.

Election judges must be available to work weekdays and Saturdays, from Oct.17-Nov. 8. Some start and end dates will be different, depending on the position.

People with good computer skills, who are willing to drive, are highly encouraged to apply. For more information on how to become an election judge, please visit
